Meet Our CEO & Founder

Tan Mai

Tan Mai launched his first business at just the age of 25. A small hole-in-the-wall restaurant that was voted as “best neighborhood restaurant” by NEXTDOOR three years in a row (2014-2017). Now, at the age of 32, Tan is a successful entrepreneur with multiple businesses under his belt. His passion, however, has always been in the music industry. Tan was a successful disc jockey long before he was ever a business owner. A passion that eventually led to his many business ventures. When asked what inspires his business ideas, he had this to say:

“Believe it or not, I was an extremely lazy person growing up. It wasn’t until the age of 23 that everything sort of “clicked” for me. I start thinking back to my childhood and remembering how hard my parents had to work and still have nothing. It was almost like I buried those memories all these years. Anyway, once I came to that realization, it really motivated me to be more efficient and productive with my time. I took this motto and adapt it to my business and lifestyle. The idea of Perfect Tale Events is born directly from this belief. An efficient and productive way to plan and book your entire event; an adaption to today’s technology-driven society, a modern way to book your event from the tips of your fingers.”
